by Michael Strother 8. May 2005 18:22

The sculptures constructed from steel beams has been removed, and a new installation has been put in it's place. Here are some pictures of the two 'tower walls' finished in the last week or so.

Sculpture in Madison Sq. Park

by Michael Strother 4. December 2004 06:10

I haven't been particularly fond of these metal sculptures that were installed in Madison Square Park this year, but I've been warming up to this one in the center of the fountain at the north end of the park.  The others still remind me of the wreckage of the twin towers... I wonder if that was the artist's intent.

Yet another picture of one of my favorite buildings.

More Madison Avenue

by Michael Strother 1. May 2004 04:59

These pictures came out a bit darker than I originally expected (or planned). On this morning, I took the 6:53 from East Norwalk. The pictures in the park were taken about 8:10.

Looking east in Madison Square Park

This is my favorite part of my morning commute; walking through Madison Square Park.  It's getting nicer now that it is warming up, and this was a beautiful morning.
